NELHUA Privacy Notice
Last updated: October 16, 2026
1. Who we are and how to reach us
Andrés Dueñas Saavedra, doing business as NELHUA, with its address at Francisco Fernández Treviño 249, Col. Leones, C.P. 64600, Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, is responsible for the personal data collected through nelhuajewelry.com.
For anything related to your privacy, write to [email protected].
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may process:
- Your email address and the language you view the site in.
- With your signup: the date you signed up and how you reached the site, such as the campaign, social network, or page that brought you here.
- Anything you include when you contact us.
- Your cookie and subscription preferences.
- Technical data, such as IP address, browser, device, and the logs needed to keep the site secure.
- If you accept analytics cookies: cookie identifiers, approximate location, pages and sections viewed, where your visit came from, and how you interact with the site.
- If you accept ads cookies: Meta cookie identifiers and the actions you take on the site, such as visiting, signing up, or starting and completing a reservation.
- If you make a reservation: transaction identifiers, amount, currency, date, and payment or refund status.
We don’t ask for sensitive personal data. Your full card details are entered directly into Stripe’s payment service; NELHUA does not store them on its own servers.
3. How we use your data
To provide what you ask of us, we use the data needed to:
- Manage your signup and send you the pre-launch updates you asked for, including when the Kickstarter campaign opens.
- Answer your questions.
- Manage, confirm and, where applicable, refund a reservation.
- Send necessary information about your reservation and its benefits.
- Protect the site, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
As optional purposes:
- Sending you news about other collections, promotions, and marketing content from NELHUA, when you allow it.
- Analyzing how the site is used and how our campaigns perform with Google Analytics, when you accept analytics cookies.
- Measuring our ads and showing you NELHUA ads on Facebook and Instagram through the Meta pixel, when you accept ads cookies.
You can decline these optional purposes and still browse, sign up, make a reservation, and receive the necessary messages about it.
4. Cookies, Google Analytics, and Meta
We use your browser’s storage, without cookies, to remember your cookie choice, the language you picked and, during your visit, how you reached the site.
Analytics. With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors arrive, which pages they view, and what they do. Google receives and processes the browsing data needed to provide this service, including cookie identifiers and technical data. Your IP address may be used to derive an approximate location and to protect the service.
Ads. With your permission, we use the Meta pixel to measure our ads and show NELHUA ads on Facebook and Instagram. Meta receives browsing data, cookie identifiers, and the actions you take on the site.
We do not send Google Analytics or Meta your name, email address, message content, or card details.
The usual cookies are:
| Cookie | Category | Purpose | Default lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Analytics | Tells visitors apart using an identifier generated by the service. | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Analytics | Keeps session information. | 2 years |
_fbp | Ads | Identifies the browser to measure and deliver Meta ads. | 90 days |
Their actual lifetime may be shorter because of your browser’s restrictions.
Google Analytics and the Meta pixel turn on only after you accept the matching category. You can decline or withdraw your permission from “Cookie preferences” in the footer. When you withdraw it, we stop any further measurement and delete the cookies in that category that we can manage from our domain.
You can also delete cookies from your browser. Withdrawing your permission does not automatically delete information collected earlier; you can ask us to delete it using the contact in this notice.
More information: Google Analytics privacy and Meta Privacy Policy.
5. Service providers and data sharing
To run this site we use:
- Cloudflare: hosting and running the site.
- Brevo: contact management and email delivery, including open and click measurement.
- Google Analytics: measuring site usage, with your permission.
- Meta: measuring and delivering ads, with your permission.
- Stripe: processing reservations, payments, and refunds.
- Google Fonts: the site’s typefaces; your browser downloads them from Google’s servers.
These providers may process information outside Mexico. When they act as processors, they handle data on NELHUA’s behalf under the applicable agreements. Stripe may also process data under its own responsibility, as described in its privacy policy.
We do not sell your data or hand it to other companies so they can send you their own advertising.
We may disclose information to authorities when the law requires it. For any other transfer that needs your consent, we will ask before making it.
6. Retention
We keep subscription data while your subscription is active and the data is needed for the purposes described here. When it is no longer needed, it is deleted or blocked, as applicable.
Reservation and transaction records may be kept for as long as needed to meet legal obligations and handle liabilities.
In Google Analytics we set retention to 14 months for user-level and event-level data, without resetting the user identifier’s period on new activity. Aggregated statistical reports may be kept longer.
7. Your rights and how to use them
You can ask to access your data, correct it, have it cancelled, or object to its processing. Under Mexican law these are known as ARCO rights.
Send your request to [email protected] with your name, a way to reply to you, the right you want to exercise, and the information needed to locate your data. For corrections, tell us what needs to change. You will need to prove your identity, or your authority to act for someone else, through a suitable method we will indicate.
We will tell you our decision within 20 business days. If your request is granted, we will carry it out within the following 15 business days. These periods may be extended once, for an equal period, where the law allows it.
You can also use that address to withdraw your consent or to limit the use and disclosure of your data. We will reply through the same channel. Withdrawal is not retroactive, and there may be data we must keep by law.
To stop receiving emails, use the unsubscribe link in any of them. To change your analytics or ads permission, use “Cookie preferences”.
8. Security
We apply administrative, technical, and physical measures suited to the data we handle to protect it against loss, alteration, and unauthorized access or use.
9. Changes to this notice
We will post updates at nelhuajewelry.com/en/privacy/, with their date. When a change requires new permission, we will ask for it before carrying out that processing.
